Steve and Cherie Byers

Founders, Pastor

Having asked Jesus into his heart at the age of eight—motivated at first by a child’s desire to avoid going to hell—Steve soon discovered he had been ruined for sin. His younger years became something of a spiritual game of hide-and-seek with God, and at times, an all-out game of dodgeball.

A close high school friend and later college roommate once asked him, “Why don’t you just become a pastor?” That question lingered for years. In time, the calling caught up with him—chased him down, in fact—and that pursuit will one day make for a meaningful autobiography.

Today, Steve and Cherie see their lives as a tapestry carefully woven together for His glory. Glory be to God for the desire, the fire, the drive, and the enthusiasm He has placed within them—to see revival, to see worship rise, to see lives renewed, and to see people loved deeply by Jesus and empowered through the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Having been entrusted with stewardship over a beautiful and anointed 114-acre equine estate, Pastor Steve Byers now desires to use this place as a blessing to others—and as an offering of praise to the Lord.

Captured by a move of God, they now pray that others will be blessed by a move of God.

It’s Revival Time.

Bishop Michael Dunn

Spiritual Overseer, Prophet

Bishop Michael Dunn has devoted a lifetime to Christian ministry, carrying a deep passion for the work of the Holy Spirit and the building of strong, Spirit-led communities of faith. His early years in ministry began in Texas, where he had the privilege of serving alongside respected leaders in the faith, including serving with John O’Steen at Lakewood Church, and other influential voices who helped shape his foundation in ministry and spiritual leadership.

Over time, Bishop Dunn developed a special calling and love for the Ohio Valley region, ministering throughout communities stretching from the headwaters of the Ohio River in Pittsburgh to where its waters ultimately join the Mississippi River. In that region, he faithfully provided pastoral guidance, spiritual oversight, and what many came to recognize as a unique spiritual covering for churches and individuals seeking deeper relationship with God.

It was during this season of ministry that Bishop Dunn encountered a young single man named Steve Byers. Through faithful mentorship and Spirit-led worship gatherings, Bishop Dunn hosted and facilitated powerful times of ministry at a revival church in Glendale, West Virginia. In those powerful services, the Holy Spirit moved in a profound and life-changing way in Steve’s life, igniting a calling and passion for ministry that continues to bear fruit today.

Bishop Dunn later had the honor of officiating the marriage of Steve and Cherie Byers, marking another meaningful milestone in a relationship that has spanned decades of ministry partnership and friendship.

By God’s providence and unexpected proximity, Bishop Dunn now resides in the Florida Panhandle, where he continues to serve as a trusted spiritual father and covering for Hilltop Christian Fellowship. His wisdom, experience, and steadfast faith remain a blessing to the church, its leadership, and the many lives touched through its ministry.

Bishop Dunn’s life reflects a consistent testimony of obedience to God’s call, commitment to sound doctrine, and a heart for nurturing the next generation of believers and leaders.
